Opelika, and Lee County, has a long history of excellent private schools.  Some were created because of social pressures (see Firsts' in the Opelika's African-American community )while others were created for religious reasons.  All private schools opened in a search for education excellence. This section will publish information on the schools that were brought to our attention by visitors to our website.
